Forecast Drivers Revamp

What's New in Pegasus: A Revamped Forecast Drivers Experience

6/12/2026

We’ve made meaningful updates to the Forecast Drivers page — a visual refresh, a smarter save flow, and a new Distribution setting that gives you control over how your monthly values translate into weekly cash timing.

Here’s what changed:

A Refreshed Forecast Drivers Page

The Forecast Drivers page has a new look. The page is now sleeker and more uniform with the rest of the Cash Forecasting module, making it easier to move between views without losing context.

Actuals/Forecast banners. The Actuals/Forecast checkboxes that previously sat above both tables have been removed. That context now lives directly in the table header rows, consistent with how the Cash Forecasting table handles it.

Save New. Making changes to your Forecast Drivers is simple — click “Save New” whenever you’ve made updates to save a new version. Enter a unique name and your forecast will adjust accordingly.

Control How Monthly Values Are Distributed Across Weeks

Up until now, monthly values were always spread evenly across the weeks in a month — but that’s not how most organizations actually collect or pay out cash. Payments and receipts tend to cluster at specific points, like the start of the month, the middle, or right before it closes out. Now you can set the timing to match how your business really operates.

Each row in the Billings Forecast and Forecast Drivers tables now includes a Distribution dropdown with four options:

  1. Spread Evenly — divides the monthly value equally across all weeks in the month. This is the default for all new and existing rows, so nothing changes unless you adjust it.
  2. Month-Start Week — allocates the full monthly value to the first full week of the month.
  3. Mid-Month Week — allocates the full monthly value to the week in which the 15th falls. If the 15th falls on a weekend, it applies to the preceding full week.
  4. Month-End Week — allocates the full monthly value to the last full week of the month.

Your Distribution selection flows through to the Cash Forecasting table’s Forecast Drivers tab, the AR/AP Roll calculation, and DSO/DPO outputs. Distribution selections persist when a forecast is saved and are included in any exported data. The Forecast Drivers Excel template has also been updated to include the new Distribution column.

A Dedicated File Management Module

Managing files in Pegasus is now simpler and more organized.

You’ll now see a File Management module in the top navigation (identified by the file icon to the left of Mapping). This module creates a single workspace for managing files moving in and out of Pegasus, eliminating the need to hunt across different parts of the platform.

The module is organized into two sections: Exports and Imports.

Exports

The My Exports page has moved! You’ll now find this table in the Exports section of the File Management module, to help you quickly view, download, and manage all Pegasus-generated files in one place.

Imports
Within Imports, files are now organized into clear status views so you can immediately see where each upload stands. The My Imports page provides a consolidated view of all files uploaded into Pegasus with clear status indicators so you can track progress and identify issues quickly. If Pegasus detects an issue with one of your uploads, you’ll now be able to use the Import Wizard, a guided workflow that walks you step-by-step through the upload process to help ensure files are mapped and submitted correctly. From the same area, you can also access the Upload Templates page, a repository of all the standardized templates used for manual uploads, which eliminates the need of tracking down individual templates across the platform.

Together, these updates create a centralized space for managing every file associated with your Pegasus workflows.
